Implementation of Equity Initiative (Equity based Development)
Under RUSA Equity Initiative Component, various activities are being undertaken :-
- To address language barrier due to geographical isolation and dominance of Mizo language:-
- 24- Govt. Colleges are equipped with Language Laboratory
- Spoken Hindi and English Class in all Colleges. Addition of Spoken Burmese Class in Champhai college
- Creation and strengthening of Equal Opportunity Cell & Career and Counseling Cell
- Remedial Class for weak and slow learners
- Gender & PwD sensitization campaign
- Various Personality Development Programme
