INAUGURATION OF M.Ed CLASS ROOM AT IASE
The Hon’ble Union Minister, Human Resource Development (HRD), Shri Prakash Javadhekar on 17th April 2017, (Monday) inaugurated the 15- completed Projects under Rashtriya Uchhatar Shiksha Abhiyan(RUSA) in various states and UTs across India through Video Conferencing from India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The National Mission Authority (RUSA) Meeting and the Digital launch took place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 P.M. One of the projects inaugurated by the Union Minister was ‘Construction of New Building for M.Ed Classrooms’ at Institute of Advanced Study in Education (IASE), Republic Veng, Aizawl, which is one of the newly completed projects under RUSA Infrastructure Grants in the state. The New building contains hybrid lab, Two Classroom and Faculty room.
The Hon’ble Minister, Higher & Technical Education (H&TE), Pu R. Romawia and the Commissioner & Secretary, H&TE Dept. Pu Benjamina attended the programme at New Delhi.
From the Project site at IASE, the event was joined by dignitaries like Mr. H.Zothangliana, Parliamentary Secretary, Higher & Technical Education (H&TE), Pu R. Vanlalvena, MLA, Member Secretary, State Higher Education Council, representative of Local Council, YMA and MHIP, Officials of the H&TE Department, Principals, Teachers and students through Video Conferencing.
